When stories open doors to exciting new worlds, it\u2019s easy to get lost in a book!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Fall 2025, invite your students to frolic with fairies, garden with gnomes, and tinker with trolls, all while finding their next favorite book. Here are a few ways you can transform your space into a magical forest that encourages readers to explore your book fair. And remember, those who wander these fabled woods always return braver and brighter than before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Garden Gate Entrance: <\/strong>Transform the entrance to your book fair into a magical garden gate! Decorate it with vines, flowers, twinkling fairy lights, and a whimsical \u201cWelcome to the Everglow Forest Book Fair\u201d sign. Have students \u201cunlock\u201d the magic of the book fair with oversized keys to get inside, setting the tone for a magical experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Fairy Dust Treasure Hunt: <\/strong>Organize a scavenger hunt where students can search for hidden \u201cfairy dust\u201d jars (glitter or colorful sand-filled bottles). Each jar can have a clue or fun fact about a book featured at the fair. Offer small prizes like bookmarks, stickers, or enchanted tokens for finding all the jars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. A Storybook Wishing Well: <\/strong>Set up a wishing well where students can write their book wishes on leaf-shaped papers and toss them into the well. Display popular wishes, and maybe even draw one or two to gift those books to the students as a special surprise!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Toll-bridge Troll Challenge: <\/strong>Create a playful troll toll bridge near the entrance or a featured section. Students can interact with a friendly \u201ctroll\u201d (a volunteer in costume) who asks fun book-related riddles or trivia. Correct answers could earn them a magical token or sticker that they can collect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Gnome Garden Craft Station: <\/strong>Set up a crafting station where students can create their own mini gnome or fairy garden to take home. Offer small pots, artificial moss, tiny gnome figures, and decorations. They\u2019ll love creating a little piece of Everglow Forest while feeling connected to the magical atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Meet the Forest Creatures \u2014 Storytime with Fairies and Dragons: <\/strong>Host a story time session featuring a costumed fairy, gnome, or dragon reading magical tales to the students.
